Ratings For New Wednesday Shows

I may live to regret putting Modern Family (ABC) on my TV Deadpool. It won its time slot Wednesday night just edging out Criminal Minds (CBS) in the demo. Cougar Town (ABC) tied the second half of Criminal Minds.

Still, the lead-in for the new ABC sitcoms was Dancing With The Stars -- all too soon, that lead-in will be Hank and The Middle (the latter also on my TV Deadpool list). I contend that The Middle is so bad that it will destroy anything it touches.

NBC's Mercy (#4 on my list) pulled lower demo numbers than even Old Christine/Gary Unmarried. 8:00 p.m. is too early for a show like Mercy, but I suspect it'll be canceled rather than being moved.

Eastwick (ABC) did so-so, and The CW's Beautiful Life (the Ashton Kutcher-produced drama) had so few viewers that if you were rounding the numbers, it would round down to zero.
