Many webmasters are probably blaming the economy on a precipitious drop in affiliate fees from sites such as Amazon.Com and Commission Junction. There may be another culprit: File-sharing services such as Morpheus, Limewire, and TopMoxie are installing programs that steal affiliate referrals, according to today's New York Times.
