When talk began recently of reuniting RSS 0.93 and RSS 1.0, I was surprised because there has been so much acrimony in the past about the subject. Given the tenor of recent discussion on Scripting News and Blogroots, it doesn't look like an RSS reunion is even remotely possible. People on both sides ought to get back to implementing tools that support their choice of RSS and teaching others how to do the same.
