One of the more interesting things about ThumbScript, a new key input technology for PDAs and other devices, is that it works on existing phones. You "draw" characters by moving a stylus or your finger over three pixels on a 3-by-3 grid, and the movement mimics the shape of the character (like PalmPilot's Graffiti character recognition system), making it easier to learn the system. Because telephones have a 3-by-3 grid, you can use it to send text e-mail from any phone.
