According to CNET, Yahoo is shutting down its Radio service, which offers streaming audiocasts of hundreds of local radio stations around the U.S. and elsewhere. CNET seems to be downplaying the closure because it affects only 30 jobs, but it appears to me that Yahoo is giving up on most of the assets it acquired for $5 billion from Broadcast.Com in 1999. Ouch.
