Mark Pilgrim has apparently decided that the person lampooning his daily accessibility profile is a "wiener boy," adopting Dave Winer's favorite term of disendearment. Winer's a mad genius when it comes to addictive terminology -- I find myself using "pushback," "route-around," "corner-turn" and other Winerisms in spite of concentrated efforts to stop -- but wiener boy is not his best work, especially when it's combined with par excellence. You've got to try a little harder when coming up with a term that has offensive first-strike capability, as Vice President Spiro Agnew did when he called his critics "nattering nabobs of negativism."
