I deleted my account with the Dallas Morning News site this evening. I think it's completely unacceptable for the paper to make the following requirement one of its terms of service for site users: "If you operate a Web site and wish to link to this Site, you may link only to the home page of the Site and not to any other page or subdomain of us." While the paper is taking liberties with the free expression of others, the News might as well put in a requirement that any registered user who talks about the paper "must only speak of it in a flattering and positive manner."
