I heard today from Dave McOwen, the former Georgia university sysadmin who was charged with the felony crime of installing a screensaver without permission. His ordeal ended in January when prosecutors finally came to their senses, and one line on his weblog sums up the good news well: "Our personal website is slowly returning back to personal after the case is over."
