Best name ever: Michiko Kakutani. I'm becoming obsessed with the name of this reclusive New York Times cultural critic, who appears to be a magnet for odd fixations. Kakutaniphiles include a McSweeney's contributor and the author Leslie Epstein, whose novel Ice Fire Water is about an elderly man's star-crossed (and fictional) love affair with her.
