The election is three weeks away but we can already declare a loser: the media. In the last two weeks alone, the mainstream press has maligned Gore as a liar based on a large amount of inaccurate reporting, fixated on the perception that Bush is a dim-witted bumbler to the point that he is complimented for pronouncing the names of world leaders correctly and covered the debates almost entirely on expectations and presentation style. It's a disgrace to the journalism profession.
