Babylon 5 actor Jerry Doyle ("Garibaldi") is running for Congress as a Republican in California's 24th District (parts of Los Angeles and Ventura counties). Roll Call doesn't give Doyle much chance of unseating one-term incumbent Brad Sherman (the district hasn't elected a Republican in more than 20 years). Doyle appears to be a moderate and loves calling his opponent "B.S." and a "former tax collector." The highlight of Doyle's site: "Who do you believe about social security, the former tax collector, Brad Sherman, [or] myself -- a former securities investor?"
