As a bad Web designer, I am wistful for the days when HTML was so limited that everyone's work looked bad. A New Mexico university professor has saved the front pages of several well-known sites from May 1996: AltaVista, Microsoft, Progressive Networks, Shareware.Com, UPS, Virtual AdVentures, Worlds Inc., Xing and Yahoo.
