For weeks, Time Life Music has been bombarding Jacksonville television stations with commercials for Songs 4 Worship, a collection of painfully uplifting Christian pop music. After trying all day to stop thinking about the songs -- such as "Awesome God," "Shine, Jesus, Shine," "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever" and "What a Mighty God We Serve" -- I now know what the term "God-fearing" really means.
