Amazon.Com has launched Honor System, a way to donate money to participating Web sites such as MetaFilter. I was offered a chance to make Cruel Site of the Day one of the founding sites in this system, but I couldn't rationalize asking a dark-humored and sarcastic audience to appeal to their better nature by giving me money.
