In a PlanetIT article about security problems with AOL Instant Messenger, Habeeb Dihu of the Internet consulting firm DiamondCluster says he was conducting a major business negotiation with GM, Ford, Oracle, and other companies when someone hijacked his user ID, macgyver. I think this article raises a bigger question than security: Would you feel comfortable doing business with someone whose user account was macgyver@aol.com?
