Motorcycle detailer crashes on EBay

A Harley Davidson motorcycle detailer who solicits work via EBay is building an impressive list of angry customers. According to the South Carolina Island Packet, Curtis Ellis has been charged with stealing more than $5,300 from residents of seven states.

Customers began a anti-Ellis Web site, finding others who allege that they sent cash and motorcycle parts and never got anything but excuses in return.

The weirdest part of the story is Ellis' EBay feedback rating, which makes me wonder how trustworthy it is as a means of checking out a prospective seller.

He has a 100 percent positive rating on EBay, receiving 267 positive reviews and no negative reviews, including 12 in the last month.

These kinds of guys make the online auction untrustworthy.

The anti-Ellis Web site link doesn't work.
I'm a motorcyclist, I'd like to know more about this...
Thanks
