As a Gore voter in 2000, I experience Dean-scream levels of ire when someone trots out the canard that Fightin' Al claimed to have invented the Internet. However, I had to laugh at this Slashdot comment where the Internet comes to life, begins speaking, and takes a little credit of its own:
