Weblogger undergoes cancer surgery
In the space of two weeks, weblogger Anita Rowland has been diagnosed with diabetes and probable ovarian cancer and undergone surgery, for which her doctors are "cautiously optimistic," according to a friend.Rowland, a Web producer, former Microsoft contractor, and science fiction fan, has been writing an online journal since at least 1997. I have gotten to know her writing since Workbench began showing up in that groovy time-based blogroll she created for Anita's LOL.
