Comedy equals Google AdSense plus Drudge
I'm in the process of migrating the Drudge Retort to FrontPage 2003 to add Google AdSense and revive the site now that the presidential election is gearing up.
FrontPage has a new dynamic template feature that makes it easy to give pages a common design and create new pages from those templates. On those pages, areas can be set up as editable or non-editable. Changes to the template can be applied immediately to all of the pages on the site.
Because Google AdSense offers ads based on the contents of a page, it's leading to some funny selections on some of the Retort's old Clinton impeachment stories. Such as the ads on the story CDC issues advisory regarding smoking of presidential cigars!
