ZIP developers fork up
WinZIP and PKWare, two leading developers of ZIP archival software, are forking the format with non-standard security features. This seems like a great way to ruin the best thing about the format: the assurance that a file with the .zip extension could be opened easily by anyone with ZIP software.Add a Comment
