Bandwidth bill beggars

The host of the groovy '70s Scientology primer is passing the hat to pay an unexpected $210 bandwidth bill:

~50,000 people saw the site, and given that I do not think it is crazy to assume that 210 of them (you) can donate a dollar (just one!) to my cause

Web publishers who don't know their host's bandwidth usage policies need to review them -- a lot of providers turn on expensive metered service when you go beyond a specified amount of traffic, as Glenn Fleischman learned.
