Afghanistan rejoins the Web
Afghanistan is rejoining the World Wide Web with the activation of the .af top-level domain.At present, only one live site from this namespace shows up in Google: the home page of the Islamic Transitional State of Afghanistan, which includes speeches by leader Hamid Karzai. As you can see from the search, there used to be a few others: netscape.af, orgia.com.af, and alqaeda.af.
