Last Sunday, Washington Post writer Gene Weingarten called The Great American Parade "the worst novel ever published in the English language."

I received a copy this weekend and have scanned in the covers for an article about the book. I love work that gets recognized -- however fairly or unfairly -- as the worst of its kind. For example, the science fiction story Eye of Argon and the role-playing game Spawn of Fashan.

I read that as "Spawn of Fashion" and thougth that a RPG in the fashion industry could be fun!
