In the New York Times, Gregg Easterbrook offers some advice on sensible preparedness for a terrorist attack in the U.S. For starters, stop wasting your money on duct tape:

Your risk of dying in a car accident while driving to buy duct tape likely exceeds your risk of dying because you lacked duct tape.
