Phil Wolff calls Michael Masnick's Techdirt "brilliant" for the business plan to provide private weblogs for business clients.

I'll extend the superlative: Techdirt is too good to be overlooked among thousands of other technical weblogs. I'm amazed that it doesn't show up in the Top 50 XML feeds read by Radio Userland users and other most-read lists.

Every link on Techdirt is accompanied by commentary from Masnick, as in this recent Industry Standard item. I don't know much about Masnick, but the quality of his insight and the seriousness of his approach reminds me of Tomalak's Realm and Keith Dawson's late, lamented Tasty Bits from the Technology Front.
