I'm the publisher of the Drudge Retort and SportsFilter.

I also am the author of several editions of the Java in 21 Days and Java in 24 Hours books from Sams Publishing and have written a gazillion other books on computer-related topics.

Before I began writing books, I was a newspaper reporter at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and the author of a syndicated question-and-answer column called "Ask Ed Brice."

I live in Jacksonville, Florida, with my wife, journalist M.C. Moewe, and our three sons. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 1991 and Berkner High School in 1985.
