Reader Questions

  • Question: As I worked through Chapter 6, I think I accidently turned off a word wrap feature that I can't correct. Now, whenever I type text into a Frontpage 2002 template or existing page, the text doesn't wrap for a new line, but continues off the end of the monitor--and never ends on the same line. Ditto for text in a table -- typing new text simply extends the table width. How can I fix this?

Answer: I haven't found a definitive answer yet, but there are two places you can check to see how FrontPage 2002 handles the right margin of a page in the editing window.
First, highlight a paragraph of text that isn't formatting correctly, right-click the paragraph, and choose Paragraph from the shortcut menu that appears. The Paragraph dialog box appears. In the Indentation section, change the After text value to 0, then click OK.
Next, choose Tools, Page Options, then click the HTML Source tab to bring it to the front. In the Formatting section, the Right Margin box should have a value of 80 or less.
If any other FrontPage or Office users have suggestions about this, please send me feedback.
