Issues USA began its second season on Sept. 15. Here on the Main Street Diner's web site, you can see the results of two result Diner Polls in the Special Orders section. The poll is taken at real diners around the country, and also can be taken here on the World Wide Web. The list of participating diners has been posted, so that you can see if one's in your area. If not, be sure to recommend one.

To see what's coming up on Issues USA, check out the Hot Servings section. If it has been awhile since you have dropped by, the name of the show might be a surprise. On July 15, Damn Right adopted a new name: Issues USA. The diner followed suit and became the Main Street Diner.

TCI News created this site to give viewers a direct channel to Issues USA. We're also trying to get a direct channel to viewers, but in order for that part to work, we need a loud clientele.

The Main Street Diner is a place where people can feel free to speak up. Here's a few of the ways you can get heard:

• Participate in our Diner Polls. These can be taken while visiting the Special Orders section of the site, and there's a new one posted each week. The results, taken from the web site and from diners around the nation, also are provided.

• Speak up on the question of the week. Issues USA devotes a full week of episodes to a specific topic. You can influence our coverage by letting us know how you feel on the issue!

• Send us e-mail. Issues USA was created to give Main Street America a voice amid all the Beltway experts, career politicians and elite journalists. We can't always respond individually to the e-mail we receive, but it is read and discussed by the staff. There may be times when some of it is featured on the show.

Feel free to stay awhile ... there's no closing time in cyberspace, and there's a lot to find here at the Main Street Diner!
