Hour 11: Create and Edit Graphics for Your Web
Corrections/Clarifications
Commonly Asked Questions
- Q: In this chapter's workshop, you make three picture buttons and place them in a shared
border. How do you get them in the shared border?
A: To edit the contents of a shared border, open any page that
contains the border in Page view. You can edit the area within the border
the same way you edit the rest of the page -- for instance, to add an image,
click your cursor within the shared border and click the Insert Picture from
File button.
If your Web has no shared borders yet, choose the
Format, Shared Borders menu command. A dialog box will open enabling the
creation of shared top, bottom, left, and right borders.
Solutions
- Exercise 1: The All Hallows
Eve theme was created using several images from the Microsoft Clip Art
Gallery.
- Exercise 2: Four cropped images combined seamlessly to form breakfast.
