Art Bell Remarries, Will Leave U.S.
Paranormal radio host Art Bell told listeners on Coast to Coast AM last night that he has remarried, given his pet cats away and will be leaving the country, according to the show's web site:
During the first hour, Art shared the story of how he met, fell in love with, and married a very special Filipino woman, Airyn Ruiz. Art also announced that he will be moving to the Philippines on April 29th to be with Airyn, but will continue doing weekend Coast programs from that location.
Art Bell's wife Ramona died in January at age 47 of circulatory failure resulting from an asthma attack.
Last night, Bell announced his new marriage on the air and shared photos of the wedding to Ruiz, 21, who met him over e-mail after Ramona's death.
Bell broadcasts his late-night talk show and an FM oldies station from his home in Pahrump, Nev., a desert town 50 miles from Las Vegas near Area 51. He left regular hosting duties behind on Coast to Coast in 2002 and now appears on weekends.
Some fans on an Art Bell online forum took the news personally:
What is even more shocking to me, is that he's leaving EVERYTHING behind ... the desert area, his home, his cats, the list is endless. ... I never would have thought a time would come when Art would go a day without his cats, no matter what. On his first show after Ramona died, he said that at one point, his cats were what kept him from suicide.

I for one am disgusted by Art Bell.
In October, my soulmate of 22 years will have been dead for 3 years. The first year I cried almost everyday, which was especially hard at work because it would hit me suddenly and I would rush from my desk to the restroom so no one would see me. I still cannot fathom the thought of ever remarrying. I'm a 42 yr old man and have all the normal sexual urges but the thought of actually being with someone else after 22 years still makes me sick to my stomach.
Only a truly narcissistic nutcase could remarry after being a widower for only 3-4 months. To me it shows he never truly loved Ramona.
I've seen pics of Arts friend who married Airyns sister. Another loser in my mind. It's really gross when old or obese men go to 3rd world countries to get what are virtually child brides. Another patronizing thing is that Art refuses to pronounce Airyns name correctly.
I feel betrayed by Art and wish he would be taken off the air.

Art Bell has quit and so has his long time Premiere network buddy Kraig Kitchin. Some say Kitchin was canned over Art's latest stunt.
Also gone are the Coast to Coast Streamlink message boards.

I spoke to one of the show's producers today.
The board is closing.
It wasn't a decision made by the show's producer, the decision came from Premiere corporate guys.
Someone is not communicating the truth to George.
The producer in question and I didn't discuss the matter in depth because it is a touchy subject, but the conversation ended with me being told: "You can blame all the changes going on at Coast to Coast on Art surprising everyone and leaving -- again." This implied a greater impact of Art leaving on Premiere and Coast as a whole.
Kraig Kitchen stood up to Clear Channel for many years protecting Art when he had personal problems and crises in his life that affected his ability to be on the air.
My guess is that Clear Channel had enough with this latest retirement by Art. Kraig had probably stuck his neck out one too many times, and he was given the choice of being fired or resigning over Art's retirement after everything they did to accommodate him -- including creating a new show and marketing it: Ian's early evening show -- then Art just "deciding" to leave again. I would've blown a gasket too if I was an exec at Clear Channel. Someone's gotta pay the piper, and I believe it was Kraig -- my opinion here.
With Kraig removed from the helm -- Premiere's co-founder -- Charlie is stepping in to fill his shoes. Charlie has been with Premiere less than 4 years, and he is a Clear Channel loyalist, so he is probably being directed to make C2C fall in lock-step with the format and design of other Premiere / Clear Channel programming.
This is my analysis. I might be flawed. I might be wrong. However, given the cards I've seen on the table, I believe it to be the situation at hand.

When it comes to Art Bell, I feel the same way that the character Frank Grimes feels about Homer Simpson. Here's a part of that script from The Simpsons which sums it up:
Grimes: Can you believe that guy? He's in his office making a pathetic attempt to look professional.
Carl: Hey, what do you got against Homer, anyway?
Grimes: Are you kidding? Does this whole plant have some disease where you can't see that he's an idiot? Look here. [points at a chart] Accidents have doubled every year since he became safety inspector, and, and meltdowns have tripled. Has he been fired? No. Has he been disciplined? No, no.
Lenny: Eh, everybody makes mistakes. That's why they put erasers on pencils.

The only difference is that Homer Simpson is sort of an innocent imbecile at the expense of others, whereas Art Bell is a self-centered, self-celebratory, ego maniac at the expense of others.
Does Art Bell's fanatic callers and his supporters at Preimer network have somekind of disease which doesn't allow them to see the true Art Bell?
Just because it is said that Art Bell with the invention his show Coast to Coast AM has "pioneered" the paranormal/UFO interview format, or rather happens to have been the first show that dealt with those topics does not warrant the merit that Art Bell has the kind of inventive genius it takes to be a true pioneer. And so it is in the same spirit that Frank Grimes stresses "Homer is not okay", I stress Art Bell is not a genius!
And yet the latest Coast to Coast AM plan is to celebrate Art Bell even more with a formal dedication show, going so far as to feature clips of his "best moments" on the air--this after they already spent one hour of this past Sunday's show "informally" dedicated to him by having the callers tell of their "favorite Art Bell moments".
It should be needless to say, but sadly I must say it...Many far greater, far more deserving people than Art Bell have never gotten so celebrated, nor have they been so praised--people who actually have the intelligence that Art Bell thinks he has, people who have earned degrees, people who are scientists and engineers, this includes average working folks with real careers who work to improve things fore everyone's existance instead of celebrating their own petty and selfish existance, and they've even had careers which span double or triple the years that Art Bell has spent on his radio career (because when all the Coastie fanfare over his retirements and his radio career is said and done, Art Bell has comparitively spent a small amount of time in his career). Face it, the man (if one can call a giant toad that) has been retired for years.
Message to Art if you are reading this: Repeat this affirmation as you fall asleep every night. I am nothing without a listening audience. It might help you humble yourself.
Message to callers who Art routinely talks down to as if their tiny pea brains cannot possibly comprehend his superior logic: Why call up to praise him who already knows that he is great?

This is Bell's FIFTH marriage, and has has several children from earlier (first) marriage(s) that were "not acknowledged until July 2007."
The Legendary Bill Cooper often referred to Bell as Art "Bullshit" Bell because as Cooper so often stated, Bell is a shill for the New World Order Crowd and he himself belongs to several Secret Societies whose goals are oppression over the rest of Humanity and setting themselves up as our Masters and Rulers.
And yes, old "Bullshit" has been married 5 times and refuses to acknowledge his children by earlier marriages. Bell really is a scum bag.
Bell has posted on his favorite website, the Fantastic Forum. He says he is quitting to be with his family. Yet he probably quit because of a Philadelphia Weekley article by his son, Vincent Pontius that reveals that Art abandoned the two kids and their mom on Okinawa in the late 60's. Art never paid a dime in child support. The kids first saw Art on a Larry King interview. The PW article came out the week Art retired yet again. FF said that he will do 15 shows a year.
Oddly enough, Art did that marathon radio show to raise money to get kids out of Vietnam before Saigon fell. Yet he never paid for his own kids and only acknowledged them on July 7th, 2007 when the PW contacted him.
"Bell says, "I guess I wasn't ready to apologize for something I didn't know I had done. I'm not the kind of person who abandons people, and I didn't think I had abandoned them.""
Art had this to say about discussing his children:
"He declines to talk about why the relationship ended. "That was 40 years ago," he says. "I'm not sure what purpose it serves."".
That's irony for ya.
I am a Filipino...and i'm proud that i'm a Filipino. Before you judge us...better study or take a research of brilliant Filipinos who contributed to the world with thier talent and intelligence. Don't easily judge us..because we belong to a third world country, then we are nothing or our race is filthy.

I remember a way back when I at an email about Art Bell and some stuff about the Filipino people. How they made him puke, how they were fake Asians and how they were all prostitutes. Are you marrying a Prostitute Mr. Bell? Does your wife know you said those things?

A few days ago, I read about his hate mail to Filipinos. It's ironic that he has married a Filipina. I am not sure what came out first. I wonder, is he still married to her?
I have been reading and listening to the Art Bell saga for a couple of years now. His first son and his AIDS trauma, Art's bad back, the alleged Filipino hate letter, his loss of Ramona, his near suicidal broadcasts, his marriage and child with Airyn, his son Vincent Pontius and Art's abandoned first family on Okinawa, his quitting Coast to Coast except for a few appearances a year, his threats of lawsuits here and elsewhere on the web, and his "pirate" ham broadcasts of a rival show to Coast to Coast.
Now I've looked around and it seems Art is trying to use some fans of his to slander and libel the current host of Coast to Coast AM, George Noory. I found a website called godlikeproductions, albeit a rant and whacko site, but it hosts a huge thread called "the Official George Noory Sucks Thread". It has a handful of people posting over and over about George Noory and Art Bell. The site features unique ID numbers. You can copy these numbers and use the website search engine and see what other posts or thread the person started. The George Noory Hate thread was started by a guy called "Frank". He only posted a couple times. The latest was to complain about a Ham website (hamfanz)run by Evvy Garret, who has been getting threats of harrassment and litigation from Art Bell. It would seem that Art Bell is still trying to get back to being the full time host of Coast to Coast AM. Just google those websites and you will see for yourself.
What madness! An old man who hates the world, and is now trying to undo his life's mistakes by hurting and threatening other people.
Give it up Art. Let the world remember you as the founder of Coast to Coast AM, and not the man with feet of clay you really are.
The same women on that godlikeproductions site seem to be the same ones who entraped old Art Bell nemesis David John Oates, the reverse speech guru. Apparently Mr Bell objected to Oates' study of Art's "confession" of his wife Ramona's death. It revealed phrases like "the bitch must die" and "she went slowly at the end", etc.. Art sent these women from the Fantastic Forum after Oates, and conned him into swapping some nude photos of each other. Art then published the photos. The women who did this are on the godlikeproductions site, as "Sybil" and "spikegirl". Their real names are on the web if you google Art Bell and David Oates.

maybe art knows whats coming and thought ramona was better off dead.who knows what happened after the quickening and subsequent shutdown but he has never been quite the same.
